Muna Swimwear began in a 700 sq.ft condo in Toronto, Canada, inspired by our founders years-long search for fashionable and functional modest swimwear. She quit her corporate job to embark on the journey and travelled over 15,000 kilometers to learn everything about swimwear and sustainable materials.
After two dedicated years of intensive product development in a renowned business incubator, her vision of creating the perfect full-coverage swimwear came to life, marking the launch of Muna Swimwear.
In 2025, Muna Swimwear officially became the first modest swimwear brand to walk down the runway for New York Swim Week, in the heart of Manhattan. This milestone marks a powerful step forward in our mission to bring greater inclusivity, representation, and diversity to the traditional swimwear industry.
